Toyota and the Dubs

Toyota Ireland has joined forces with Dublin GAA, signing a three-year deal to make the leading car brand the official car partner to Dublin GAA.

Toyota will provide a total of 16 vehicles to players and management of the Dublin senior football and hurling teams.

The models being provided are the Auris and Avensis.

Each panel will also benefit from a Toyota Proace (van) to transport their kit around the country as they compete in the All-Ireland Championships and Allianz Leagues.

Dublin GAA has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years, with two All-Ireland football titles, Allianz Leagues hurling and football titles, as well as Leinster Championships in both codes, to celebrate.

Equally, 2014 has been a successful year so far for Toyota. While the overall car market has increased by 26% over the same period in 2013, Toyota has outperformed the market with a 50% increase in sales.

Speaking about the deal, Ian Corbett, Marketing Operations Manager Toyota Ireland, said: "We at Toyota Ireland are delighted to partner with Dublin GAA and support some of the most talented footballers and hurlers in the country.

"We are looking forward to the season ahead and to working with Dublin GAA as the teams look to add further silverware to the trophy cabinet."

Tomás Quinn, Commercial & Marketing Manager, Dublin GAA, said: "We are excited about this new relationship, which brings together two organisations who are both committed to continuous improvement and excellence, with equally matched high ambitions."
