Continental Tyres has embarked on its ‘road to Rio’ campaign, which is a roadshow that is taking a little piece of Brazil to football fans across England.
For the roadshow, they have teamed up with leading truck manufacturer Isuzu Truck (UK) who has donated an Isuzu Grafter 3.5t truck that is transporting Fuleco, the official Brazil 2014 mascot, around the UK.
Over seven weeks, the Continental Roadshow is visiting hundreds of locations across England and giving thousands of fans the chance to get involved. People in every region of the country are able to meet Fuleco, the Brazil 2014 mascot, send the England team a message via a unique photo booth and test their goal scoring prowess to win official FIFA™ World Cup merchandise as well as an opportunity to win a chance to tickets for the actual World Cup Final in Rio on Sunday July 13th.
The roadshow began in Liverpool on 11th March, and was launched by former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler, a Road to Rio Ambassador for Continental Tyres.
“The World Cup in Brazil is the biggest sporting event in 2014 and we were pleased to have been asked to help one of the events principal sponsors on this exciting roadshow programme,” said Keith Child, marketing director at Isuzu Truck.
