Tyre Safety Week, run in conjunction with Road Safety Week, takes place next week at participating tyre retailers across the country.
The ITIA has again teamed up this year with the RSA to run free tyre safety checks during Tyre Safety Week, which kicks off next Monday.
There will be a renewed focus on tyre safety as part of the initiative being run by the ITIA to raise awareness of the need to maintain tyres, particularly coming into the winter months.
Free tyre checks will be available nationally at participating tyre centres, along with safety pack (while stocks last).
Last year total of 115 member outlets nationwide took part in providing the safety checks to the motoring public and giving out free safety packs to all who had their tyres checked.
Members who signed up for the week received the safety packs along with posters, templates for signage and an advert and an outline of how to undertake a supermarket car park safety day.
If you are a retailer and would like to participate in Free Tyre Safety checks campaign in conjunction with National Road Safety Week, please email the ITIA at info@itia.ie for further information
