Goodyear Dunlop drives premium

Mondello International Racing Circuit recently hosted The Goodyear Dunlop Drive Premium event, designed to showcase its range of premium consumer tyres. In attendance on the day were over 50 key dealers and guests from around the country including Kevin Farrell, President of the Irish Tyre Industry Association.

Guests were welcomed by Erich Fric UK & Ireland Managing Director. Also in attendance from Goodyear Dunlop were key members of the UK & Ireland lead team, Nick Harley Consumer Director and Eddy Geerdink Marketing Director, which clearly demonstrated Goodyear Dunlop’s commitment to the tyre Industry in Ireland.

On the day the venue was transformed and split into two distinct brand zones designed to showcase Goodyear and Dunlop feature products. Tests included premium verses budget tyres on wet and dry circuits allowing dealers to experience first-hand the drop off in performance on budget tyres.

Commenting at the event Steve Lynch, Goodyear Dunlop Marketing and PR Manager for Ireland said: “We are delighted with the response from the trade to our Drive Premium event, which offered us the opportunity to showcase the strong performance characteristics of our consumer tyre range while also demonstrating our continued commitment to working together with our customers to drive business forward.”
