Ford chooses Goodyear All Season Tyres as OE Fitment

All recently-launched Ford vehicles now come with the option of Goodyear’s new, award winning,  Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 All Season tyre as OE fitment.

Ford’s new versions of the Focus, C-Max, Galaxy and S-Max as well as the current Fiesta, all come with the optional fitment of the new Vector 4Seasons Gen-2, which provides enhanced performance for braking on wet, snow and ice in independent TÜV tests, performance which is beneficial for climates witnessed across Europe.

Since Goodyear launched the Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 this summer, the impressive tyre has already taken first place in the 2015 Auto Bild All Season Tyre Test demonstrating ‘Exemplary’ performance across a number of disciplines and ranking ahead of competitor products such as the Michelin CrossClimate. It has also received the ‘Recommended’ status in the Auto Express All Season Tyre Test 2015.

Nick Harley, Managing Director Original Equipment Consumer EMEA at Goodyear said: “We are pleased to continue our positive relationship with Ford regarding our All Season portfolio. All Season tyres are becoming more popular as we see changing climates across Europe. Goodyear created the 4Season segment more than 30 years ago, and we have consistently developed and innovated this product during that time. Our recent successes in the Auto Bild and Auto Express tyre tests show that our extensive knowledge of this product segment has once again produced an industry leading product with exceptional performance.

“We are thrilled that the new Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 tyre has proved to be popular across the new Ford vehicles and we look forward to offering even more products in this segment to Ford in the future.”
