The ContiWinterContact TS 850 chas learly set itself apart from its competitors in a winter tyre test performed by specialist magazine ACE Lenkrad.
The ContiWinterContact TS 850 finished first among a range of new winter tyres models in the size category 185/60 R 15. Overall, the experts investigated 14 different driving and handling properties on snow and on wet and dry road surfaces, and rolling resistance was also factored into the final score.
The ContiWinterContact TS 850 beat all its rivals in braking on snowy and wet road surfaces and in terms of traction on snow, and it was also awarded the highest score in the test for handling on snow and in the wet, as well as for its rolling resistance.
The test was performed as a collaborative effort between ACE Lenkrad magazine (Germany), the Austrian automobile club ARBÖ, and the Gesellschaft für technische Überwachung (GTÜ, German technical inspection body).
