ITIA supports National Road Safety Week

The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) is throwing its weight of support behind National Road Safety Week, which takes place October 6 – 12, with a nationwide radio campaign featuring 28 regional stations.

In a joint Road Safety Authority / ITIA initiative, the campaign will highlight in no uncertain terms, the risks motorists take when driving with dangerous tyres on their vehicle.

The ITIA has also confirmed that it will coordinate its efforts with NTDA Northern Ireland, for the first ever all island National Road Safety campaign. NTDA NI has the support from the PSNI for its road safety week, which will consolidate all efforts for a joint campaign.

An ITIA radio advert will be produced to highlight the week and all retail members who sign up for the week, will have their business name included in the script for the advert in their catchment area.
